Check to see if you have a light on the transformer. You'll find this between the plug you plug into the wall and the end you plug into the latop. If this light is on then you have power in your power adapter cord. If not then you may have a fuse blown in the plug you plug into the wall. Also check that the cord is firmly plugged into the adapter transformer, these can work loose.
