It is asking for BIOS password. Some manufacturers do provide security by enabling passwords which needed each time to play with BIOS options.
Make system recovery disc handy, if the manufacturer has shipped it along with your Laptop. Start tapping F8 just after starting your system to enter into Advanced startup options and choose system recovery. Startup repair would be listed at the top which you can use to repair your computer.
I'm also afraid that if it didn't do the trick, you might need to format your system completely. It involves risk of losing all your documents permanently. Try using recovery software by making the internal drive as an external drive on different computer.
Good luck though!!
