Microsoft applications not connecting to the internet

hello....
my os is windows 8.1 ,i updated my windows 8 to windows 8.1 a long time back . After updating windows everything worked fine but recently microsoft applications are not connecting to the internet not atleast one while browsers like IE ,mozilla,chrome are connecting to the internet without any problem ...... hope you provide a solution to this .....thank you

default ms applications like microsoft bing,store,weather , news, people , maps ............so on

while connecting to the ms store it displays a message "we were unable to connect to the store .This might happen bcoz of server problem or network connection timed out . please wait a few minutes and try again.(0x80072ee2)"

See if your proxy parameters are correct.

P.S. What is your antivirus?

sorry i don't have that much knowledge regarding this stuff i don't know about proxy parameters .
And don't have any particular antivirus i only had windows defender
