Touchpad not working

hi .i am confident that you will solve my problem.my problem is in my hp laptop 630 its touchpad is not working. i visit the nearest service centre,they says the problem is the connecting of output mouse
is it true,and whats the solution.the touchpad is not unlocked.the light is neither works when double clicks the unlock button.
please help meeeeeee
i had a long work to do in it
solution plssss

Try this 1

1) First make sure that the Touchpad is not locked. Hold the "Fn" key and then

press "F1" key.

[Note : A touchpad symbol should be there on the "F1" key or else look for the

symbol in the function keys and use that particular key with the combination Fn.]

or press ctrl + F5 key

2) Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for

60 seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and

later put the battery back into the laptop.

THANK YOU but none solution works.i use output mouse everytime.is this is the cause of the touchpad not working

There must be a circuit issue related to the mouse. I suggest you see a technician.
