My WD Passport is not detected at all!?

Hello,


I've bought my WD 500MG. When I plug it in, the light blinks and the device vibrates, but it is not actually detected.
Someone pls help, I really need this device.
I went to device settings and it was there, location it read: "USB Mass Storage Device" with no exclamation or triangle or anything

I've tried replacing the cable, and using different computers. They all download the software but after that, nothing happens.

Where is my device?? Pls help. Thank you.

If multiple computers have the same problem this it's safe to assume that the drive itself is at fault. Any chance you can return it?
