Laptop will not go on

Hi there, I have taken the battery out and tried rebooting but laptop still wont go on.
I now see when the charger is plugged into the laptop it flashes instead of the onstant green light I always see. Laptop still wont go on.

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.

Hi, I have done all of the above and it still wont go on. The charger is flashing when you plug the laptop in but if the laptop is not plugged to the charger then the charger does nor flash

This certainly looks like an issue for a qualified technician. Sorry.
