IPod wasnt charging then it died

Hello,

I have a ipod 5th generation. I was using it last night. All of a sudden it said 20 percent. So i grabbed the charger & plugged it up. I noticed that my iPod wasnt charging then it died?. I left the ipod plugged up. Next morning i tried turning it on but nothn happened. I really need help.

Hi Kiraa

Do you know that the charger is working? Is it the correct one for the iPod? And I know it sounds daft, but is the power to the charger switched on?

Can you try using a different charger? I think this will confirm that the problem exists in the charger.
