Took the back off my Sony Vaio ,took several components out,cleaned dust out,reassembled everything.Now when switching on the 3 green lights are permanently lit with screen black.Stays like this permanently. Any ideas

It's probably the hammer you used to get the pieces back into the case. Sony recommends you use no more than a 12 oz rubber tipped hammer. :)

Perhaps you can find a used Sony on Ebay with a broken screen and use your screen and hard drive.
