Audio problem with sony vaio

Hello,
Hi I am using SONY VAIO(VISTA). There is some proble with the audio. The problem is most of the times the audio is not playing but sometimes suddenly the audio works properly. Initially I thought the problem was with drivers but sometimes the audio plays normally. I am unable understand what the problem is? Can anyone please help me out regarding this issue.

hi,
this may be a problem in the speaker system.
if the laptop is still on warranty, contact your service provider.
or if not, you may get it repaired by a qualified technician.
