Hi John,
It's unusual that drive changes its letter so randomly. Are we talking about different drive or different partitions. Do you have any external drives connected? Are those drives (with the changed paths) completely accessible and usable? I would recommend you to update your anti virus software and do a complete scan. Can you put back the drive letters the way they used to be? I leave you below a link with some good suggestions about drive letter assignment.
