Laptop discharging even when plugged in.

Hello, my laptop Compaq Presario CQ56 does not charge and it even seems to discharge faster with the charger plugged in, the battery dies after some time and when i remove the battery to charge in another laptop, it does just fine. I have explored the battery,power driver options and still didn't work, please help out.

If you confirmed that the charger works. I suspect you have a hardware problem in the power circuit on the motherboard. Perhaps a local PC repair shop can replace it.
