Hi Elielian0307,
I am sorry for the issue you are facing. Is the drive visible in Disk Management? Check if it has a drive letter and a file format. Sometimes assigning a letter solves this king of problems. Do no initialize or format the drive, because you will lose your data. The drive should appear in Device Manager. Uninstall it, restart the PC and plug the device back in.
Another option is to use a Linux Live CD. Sometimes it grants enough access to backup the data. If you manage to do so, try formatting the drive.
