Hello
No, this is not a hacking issue.
Your friend should check her spam or undesired mail folder. If there are none, the issue definitely originates from the website who gave you a quick answer without checking into the matter.
If the account had been hacked, no mails would be received.
Good luck

Hello
Who told you that the account has probably been hacked. Is that person an expert? If that person is so savy, did the person offer a suggestion?
Have you checked to see if the mails are sent to the correct address? Are those mails sent to you from the same person?

Hello,
A relative has an apartment in Spain which she advertises with one of the websites specialising in this. The site is set so that enqiries should be sent to me and to her hotmail account. Recently I have been receiving the enquiries but she has not. People at the website say that her email account must have been hacked and her enquiries being sent to the hacker. I have been able to check for filters and there none on the email account. She is receiving other emails normally but nothing from the email address of the website.

Hi,
Thank you very much, it is sorted. It was not a hacking issue as you said. I checked the list of 'safe senders' and found that the address of the website was not included. I typed it in and contacted the web site, they sent an email and it was received properly.
Thank you very much for your interest.
Regards,
Al
