hi

I have a new 3tb expansion drive. I gave this to a friend who has a mac to transfer some movies which worked fine. when we plugged in the drive it came up with 2 folders, untitled 1 and untitled 2. we moved all the data in to the untitled 1 folder.

when I took this home and plugged it in to my laptop with windows 7 the drive only shows the untitled 2 folder which is 192gb. I cant find the untitled 1 folder.

any ideas?

Hi Table51,

Are you using the hard drive on a MAC too? What is the drive's file format? Please make sure there are no hidden folders. I would use the chkdsk D: /f command from the Command Prompt ( D should be your external's drive letter). Are all the folders visible on your friend's MAC?

Hope this helps
