Sadly, this error message may indicate a failing hard drive. Sometimes this happens even with new drives. Is the drive recognized by BIOS?
Other possibility is a connectivity issue. Could you confirm that the drive is properly connected? I would remove the drive and check it on another PC, as a secondary drive. If it is not accessible, contact the reseller and get a drive replacement.
