Hi kkop,
Could you tell me if this is an external drive? It seems that you can see, but can not open the file on the drive. Is that correct? Go to Disk Management and check if the drive has a file format and a drive letter. I would recommend you to check the drive with another USB cable. Do you have valuable data on the drive? If you do not have, I would recommend you to format the drive.
