My external won't show on my computer.

Hello,

I have the same problem that when I plug my external to my pc and it detect it and says ready to use. But when I opened my computer and it didn't show up.

Could you please help me to solve this problem? As before it works properly but today I faced this kind of problem.

You said its external?
It means external hard disk.
Ok then try to go to disk management and see whether it is detected there?

I have tried what you have told me but it doesn't work and when I opened the disk management and it shows up but it mentioned that the disk is not initialized.

Could you help me please because I need some of my folders in my external hard-drive for school.
