I can't open any program that uses internet

Hi. So I've been having this problem for the past couple of days now. I have an HP Probook 450 G2, and it's only 3 weeks old! I sometimes use it for gaming, but I now can't open them. I can open Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, but when I try to search for something, the search results never come up. And when they do come up, the web page I click on never loads up. And I've tried almost everything, went into command and use resetlog.txt, restored it to an earlier time, and when I try to do a virus scan (it's Norton), I always get an error. Does anyone know how to fix this???
