Dell inspiron laptop's battery dies when it's closed

hello my dell inspiron laptop's battery works normal. However, after it stays closed a couple of hours, i can't turn it on without plugging in and i found the battery died. I sent it to service and they replaced the battery with a new one but the problem stays on. What can i do about this issue?

OK, just because you closed the lid, DOES not mean it is off. Go into your power settings and look at the actions tab. Pay close attention to what the PC does if you close the lid.
