Dell laptop not turning on

My Dell laptop power button is on constantly. Even my dongle connected to laptop is working. But the monitor is not turning on.please gv me a solution. I tried turning off. Disconnecting the adapter and removed and inserted the battery. But still not working.

Switch off the laptop
Remove the battery
Press power button for 30 seconds
Reseat the battery again
switch on the laptop.

Also try to connect external monitor to see whether it display something!

After doing what you said, I switched on the laptop
Once the light blinked from the CD drive I pressed F8. Wt a miracle. It worked.thanks.
