Hello,
Satellite c55 computer, essentially this morning it was plugged in through the charger with battery and when pressed button to turn on, it got up to loading screen (select safe mode, etc) and then beeped and shut off. I tried power on several times, it beeped and shut off repeatedly. Looked around the internet and found a suggestion to perform a power cycle by removing (unscrewing) the battery, holding the power button down for 20 sec, then placing battery back in and connecting through the charger to try to turn on. At this point the laptop no longer lights up to indicate its charging and no longer turns on (with or without the charger plugged in). Would anyone happen to have any suggestions or recommendations?
Thank you in advance for any insights.

It is either your battery, your power supply or the power going to your power supply. Try a different outlet first (probably not the problem but you never know). The power supply (the thing that plugs into the wall with the converter box) is moat likely the culprit. there are ways to test them if you are knowledgeable about that kind of stuff.
