Linksys router problem

Hello,

my family wanted to use the net anywhere inside the house so they decided to buy a router. we already configured the router so that it could be connectoed to our personnal computer, but then when we tried to use it on my sister's laptop, it was connected BUT, we could not log in into the yahoo messenger or even search the net. what should we do?

hi,
check if the cable is correctly made and properly connected.
check the connection settings as well in the control panel.

the connection is find though .. :] .. hmm? we'll try to contact a technician next week. thanks for the help though .
