Hi Dannyboy3839,
The manual suggests this:
properly to the power outlet.
the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard to
bring up the screen.
In addition I would suggest ensure the data cable is connected to the PC and in the correct output slot from your PC.
You can test if it works by plugging in a different monitor. If the other monitor works, then it is likely the LG is broken.
Let us know how you get on.
The manual suggests this:
- Check and see if the power cord is connected
properly to the power outlet.
- Press the Power button.
- If the display is in power saving mode, (power light is flickering) try moving
the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard to
bring up the screen.
- Try to turn on the PC.

You could try the LG on another machine and try to discount the computer it normally plugs in to. If the monitor works then its the machine at fault.
However, in this case I feel its the monitor itself - especially as there is no "click" when you try to power it on.
I assume the mains power is on?
I fear a new monitor is needed. If its under the guarentee take it back to the supplier.
Good luck. Let me know how you get on.
