My lg monitor does not turn on

I have the LG flatron w2442pa and when I turn on the pc, the monitor does not turn on. It just shows the LG logo for a second and then it turns black again . I checked all the cables and they are all fine. It's not the first time this happens but I was just fixing it by switching off the power cord. I tried it again but this time it isnt working. Any help please?

Dear Nick,

you Have done very good job as a basic troubleshoot.

had you check RAM. kindly remove RAM and reinsert the RAM before that clean the chip end.
