Seagate hard disk shows nothing

Please help my hard disk suddenly got empty even properties is empty means there is space il lost my all data folders I want to get that back is there any hope left will I get back my lost datas

Hi Malvika,

So, right now the hard drive shows 0 capacity? Is this an internal drive? Open Disk Management and check if the drive appears with a drive letter and a correct file format. I recommend you to update your antivirus and do a complete scan. I would check the drive on another PC. In case you are granted with some access, backup all your data and format the drive.

Hello thanks for reply but I have seagates external hard disk

Try to follow the steps above, even if it is an external drive. Furthermore, since it is an external, it would be easier to check on another PC, which may answer the question if the fail comes from the drive or from the PC. You can even try booting from a Linux Live CD and check if will grant you some access. Have you tried using some data recovery tools?
