I want to fix my iPod 4th gen

Hi guys
I'm just wondering whether there's any solution to my broken iPod.
The thing is, I accidentally slammed a car door on it and it cracked (it didn't cave in) and there was a grey spot on the top right hand corner and the rest of the screen was white.
But I tried to connect it to the computer and all my photos and music were still there and my comp recognised the iPod.
But I gave up on it and left it for like 2 years and now I'm trying to charge it but it won't turn on but it made the charging sound.
I hope you guys can give me some suggestions

how long did you charge it? It might take a few hours to bring back a dead battery.

I let it charge for the night (so roughly 8hrs) and it turned on.
But the screen is white with a grey spot like before.
Siri works, music works, just the screen doesn't change from white.

Hello,

My iPod turns on fine. My songs appear fine on it. But as soon as I click on play button, it starts acting weird. It does not play songs. When I try to forward the songs, it just resets itself.

I have tried everything possible but nothing seems to work. My iTunes does not detect my iPod. So, I cannot even reset it. And when I reset it manually, nothing happens. It just stays the same as before.

Please help!

Hello, I have a white screen and the help pages tell me to press and hold... ...until either the apple logo appears or the battery symbol - let me explain I CAN'T SEE ANY SYMBOLS BECAUSE I HAVE WHITE SCREEN!!!!!

Download music from Chrome OS to iPod?

Hi,

I have a Chromebook and have since gotten rid of my PC. I just found my iPod Touch and would like to download music onto there, but I am unable to get iTunes, WinAmp, or any of that sort of program because nothing is compatable with Chrome OS.

Is there a way still to transfer downloaded music onto my iPod from my Chromebook?

I own an Apple 80 GB iPod video and recently got 2 new labtops, so I got rid of my old desktop computer. one of them is a vista, one is an xp. I made sure all of the updates/driver updates were installed then downloaded and installed the latest version of iTunes 8. when I tried to plug my ipod into my computer (i tried on both computers) it will pop up a ballon saying this usb device cannot be reconized and will not show up in windows or itunes and does not charge. in device manager it will come up as usb mass storage device and say that no drivers are installed for this device. this problem is not with my computer or the cord because I have borrowed a friends ipod a...

Hello,

I have an iPod, 30Gb that seems to work - does everything but no sound. When I play a song, the screen indicates that it is playing, but no sound. No sound through the earphone jack, no sound through the usb. Tried resetting it (hold menu and center buttons down) but no good.
