How to access files in windows 10 computer d-drive

I have a new HP Spectre Laptop with Win10. Have a problem with computer d-drive and need to see what the drive contains. Have tried on-line searches and some forums but have not found a solution.

d: drive? Is it a disk? It could be the recovery partition, in that case leave it alone!
