Laptop Button Not Working

First, I spilled tea on my laptop and then i cleaned it with water then i turned off my computer and now it doesnt want to open. At the begginnning the LED of the charging on the laptop didnt light up and when i press the power button nothing happens. Then after a while the LED of the charging on the laptop lights up but when i press the power button the LED of the power button dosnt light up and the laptop doesnt start up. After 1 day, when i press the power button the LED of the power button lights up but goes off in 2 seconds and the laotop doesnt start. So please tell me what should i do and is it a big problem related to the motherboard?
