Hello,
when i connect my external hard disk it running but not showing in my computer as well as in disk part and in manage not show hard disk but when click on safely remove button it show eject my passport ultra please help me

Does it get detected on Device manager? What about disk management?

using cmd,type the command chkdisk -r

It's show in disk management as unidentified drive

Have you tried connecting the drive to another computer to see if it works with that computer?

Hi Jaydip,

I am sorry for any difficulties, caused by your My Passport drive. I strongly recommend you to check it another PC and with another USB cable. Search for the drive in Disk Management and in Device Manager. If the drive is working fine on another PC, open your Device Manager and uninstall the USB Hubs. Restart the PC, all the controllers should reinstall automatically. Connect the hard drive and try to access it. Do you have important data on the drive?
