Unable to see documents and settings folder in my c:/ drive

                    Hello Venkatahari,
Can you tell me what the Disk management is showing? Is your drive showing correctly the volume partitions and labels? Have you tried making all folder options to be shown and the hidden files too? If is that so, then I would suggest that you try to find a data recovery software in order to exctract some of the data. Also, you could try to see the files under the CD/USB Live Linux. Within the Ubuntu forum you can find the steps how to make a USB bootable. The thing is not to install the OS when you boot from your usb drive but click only ot "try the OS".
