Dell inspiron 15 5000 series no power

Hello,
My dell laptop is not getting on no power supply but its getting charged as the charging light is working and were as there is no supply once if i remove the power cable and switch it on the power lights comes for 1sec and goes down, what could be the reason?

Probably a motherboard failure in the power circuit. Yhe normal fix is to replace the motherboard. Nut, that might cost more that buying a new laptop.
