Hi all issue I am having is we had a power outage and after then my displays have no signal, I did a HEAP of research and found that if I disconnect the cmos battery for a few min and refit should be ok, I did that and it worked BUT now every time I restart my pc again no displays unless I open it up and repeat the process of remove battery and refit then it works.

any help on so I don't need to do this every time would be amazing.

My pc is a
Alienware x51 r1,
i7 3770 ivy bridge
8 gb ram
gtx 660
1tb hhd.

I suggest you buy a new CMOS battery.

I'll be buying one, I have never noticed slow time or more common issues with low/dead battery just this having to disconnect and refit issue

A new battery may not fix the problem. But, it will Allow a better chance for the BIOS to boot.

Good luck
