SoNy Vaio won't start

Hello ma'am /sir,
I am having trouble with my sony vaio laptop...it is in windows 10... when I tun it on it says "preparing automatic repair" then after awhile it turns black and stays black...
Could somebody please help me... I really need help right now

When booting up your computer continuously press F8 until you get an advanced boot menu.

try getting into safe mode as a starting point.

if you can I would then do a system restore to a time where it worked.
