Hi Martin,
The drive you are using can be used on TVs, consoles, players, etc. Could you please connect the drive to the PC and open Disk Management? Check the drive’s file format. Some TVs read FAT32 file format and it is highly possible that your WD Elements comes preformatted in NTFS. If you have the TV’s manual, check if there is such information there. I would backup all my data and change the file format. There may be some limitations when using FAT32 file format. For example, the file size limitation is 4 GB.
