Dell Laptop won't turn on

So a few days ago, I rode my bike to my cousin's house with a book bag on and the laptop in it along with an iPad, mousepad, mouse, and charger. I got to her house and the laptop worked fine. After I got home my laptop would not turn on. It was not that much of a bumpy ride. When I'd plug my laptop in, it'd create a ringing sound, only if the ac adapter was plugged into the wall. I tried taking the ram out and putting it back in, I tried using a different ac adapter, I tried the whole unplug and take out battery and hold power for 30 seconds method. Nothing worked. At this point I'm thinking about dropping the dough and bringing it to a PC repairman. If there's any tips I'd greatly appreciate it. Thx.
