Hi Kole,
Please connect the drive and open Disk Management. Does the drive has a proper drive letter and a correct file format? If the drive has a drive letter, run the Command Prompt as an Administrator and type the following command:
Chkdsk G: /f
You must replace the G with the drive’s letter. Wait for the process to finish and check the device again. I would also recommend you to test the drive with another USB cable and on another PC.
