Hi lhadeenkar,
Does this problem appear with some part of the movies or with all of those you have watched recently? Please connect the drive to a Windows PC and confirm that there are no hidden files and folders from Folder Options. Another thing you should try is running Command Prompt and using the following command:
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*
Replace the letter g with your hard drive’s drive letter.
If the files are still missing, download a data recovery tool and try to recover the most important files. Check the link below for some software suggestions:
