No signal on monitor

Hello,

The screen just went off whilst looking at pictures on my desktop
I checked the vga cable all ok
Nothing had changed. Rebooted still no signal
I was running a wireless keyboard and mouse
Changed the batteries rebooted and monitor came back on
The pc won't work without a working keyboard
Simple solution try it if you have a similar problem. Before changing out the graphics card
