New Dell Inspiron 1500 laptop green tint

Hi, I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 1500 laptop. When I got it and turned it on there was a green tint around the edges when the screen was black (when the dell logo is on etc.,). I returned it and today just got the new one. There seems to be the same problem. I thought the screen might not be on right but now that this is the second time, I am wondering if this is the way it's supposed to be.
