Compaq Presario 6500 indicates no signal

I accidentally removed some Compaq software when I thought it was HP printer software. Now I am unable to use the computer. It turns on but indicates no signal. I am unable to find my recovery disk but do have programs saved on Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus. Have tried F10 after turning it on but nothing happens. Have tried F1 with same results. Can something be done?

Hi Kitsapgal,

So, right now your laptop cannot boot and it seems that it is not turning on properly, right? It is hard to tell what is going on, but you may have removed some graphics related files. A recovery drive could help a lot. Any chance to contact the seller and ask for some suggestions? Another option is to call directly to the HP support and ask for some product specific troubleshooting steps.
Have in mind that since the PC does not turn on properly, there may be a hardware problem. In that case, you should seek assistance from a technician.
