Hi Sabs,
I am sorry for any inconveniency caused by your WD drive. Could you please tell us what troubleshooting steps have you followed? I would start by testing the drive on another PC and with another USB cable. Check if the drive is visible in Disk Management and in Device Manager. If the drive is not recognized, try to notice if there are some clicking noises coming from the drive.
If you have valuable information stored inside, test the drive on a Linux PC or using a Linux Live CD. You may have better results and a chance to save your data. If you manage to do so, download Data Lifeguard Diagnostic and test the drive for errors. I leave you a download link below:
