My Ipod Touch won't turn on

Hello,
My Ipod touch hasn't been used for a few months, went to plug it in and nothing, won't turn on, no light showing it's charging, just nothing. Tried the holding down the Home button and Sleep/Wake button and nothing....Help??

Try this:

press the critical button and the menu button simultaneously and hold them for 10 seconds.

Remove battery and then scrach 3 copper connector of your battery as well as clean 3 connector on ipod logic board.

Also disconnect display lcd connector and then reconnect display lcd. here is detailed troubleshooting guide for ipod ipad wont turn on.
