One of our sales girls can not connect to a web page. She is connected to the internet, outlook is sending and receiving emails. However, what ever browser I open to go to a web page, will not connect to the page.

I have tried releasing and renewing the IP address, same problem.

Thanks in advance for helping me solve this.

Jim

What browser? Uninstall it and re-install. Or, go to settings of the browser and reset defaults.

It was Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla. I did try uninstall and reinstall on all 3 and had no luck.

wow, you were able to unistall IE?

OK, so when you place this into the browser, what happens?

IE I could not uninstall, but I reset to defaults. All it does is sit and spin trying to connect.

Go to command prompt

Type: netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Hit Enter Key
Next Type: netsh winsock reset
Hit Enter Key
Restart Computer

It resets the normal browsers' operating connections which may have been corrupted.
