Restore Asus Laptop to factory settings failure

Hello,
I would to ask regarding the problem of my laptop. I made a mistake when i tried to reset to its factory settings but then the info says that there was a problem with the computer and there was and option to chose 1 is press f2 something i don't remember then 2 is press escape something to.continue if im not mistaken then i chose escape and the computer turns to shut when i turn it on only the logo brand itself came out and so i went to the youtube and look for something if i could use to solve the problen and yet i manage to open by pressing f2 to open aptio and f9 for auto repair and other setting but then still nothing changes at all. Please help.me
