I think the issue started when I plug my Ext HD in my tablet. When I plug in it in my PC it can't be viewed in My Computer (File Explore) but it was in the Safely Remove Option (See photo http://static.ccm2.net/ccm.net/pictures/fVhYTxeH2QhnSmyjYB2r2BLq0UdW6kW9Qc1XbzFO0mqDzIz9ELcxNC5buGZBUlYZ-untitled.png
It can also seen in Device Manager and Device and Printer in Control Panel but not in Disk Manager. I also tried uninstalling it but it didn't work. Any help or suggestions. Thank you.

There are two parts to an external hard drive. The first is the USB adapter and the second is the hard drive itself. In your case it appears that the adapter still works but the drive has failed.

Hello mhicaela55,

You need to run check disk command to identify the issue with the drive. With the help of check disk command, you will find the cause behind the unrecognized drive.
