Hello, Can you please guide me in some directions? When I press the on button, my computer power light comes on, the fan inside runs, but the monitor light turns green for a half a second then back to yellow. I know that it's not receiving a signal, nor does the computer boot up. This all started after cleaning the dust out and repairing the blade on the fan. I did remove the heat sink under the fan. Could this have caused the problem that I'm experincing and how do I fix it? Please help?

Hello,

Try this 1

Remove the RAM from the slot, clean it and place it back properly or try another

slot.

Now Switch ON your computer.

If you are using a graphic card, then remove it and place it back properly.

Note : You need to apply a new thermal compound if CPU FAN is removed.

Remove the old thermal compound from the processor and heat sink.

You need to be careful when removing the old thermal compound from the

processor.

Now freshly apply some thermal compound in the middle of processor and

fix the CPU FAN properly.

Good Luck
