Can anyone help me. I have a gateway nv series laptop. Sometimes it turns on properly.sometimes it doesnt but the power led indicator and fan is on. When this happens, i leave it for a couple of minutes then forcely restart the laptop by holding the power button then turning it back on and it will properly boot.

It's probably a problem with the motherboard that will require replacement. It might be cheaper to buy a new computer.
