What is BatteryInfoView?
BatteryInfoView is a sophisticated utility that provides concise, real-time insights into crucial battery metrics, including Power State, Capacity Percentage, and more. With its technical precision, you can seamlessly monitor and analyze your battery activity, empowering informed decision-making for optimal power management.
What are the key features of BatteryInfoView?
- Battery log: In this menu, a fresh log, encompassing the battery's status, such as Power State and % Capacity, is appended every 30 seconds. Furthermore, a fresh log entry is appended when the computer enters suspension (standby/hibernate) and resumes, providing a convenient means to discern the battery's discharge rate during standby mode. This is pretty useful to monitor your battery activity and help when fixing issues.
- Battery description: BatteryInfoView lists an impressively exhaustive range of information about your battery. You'll get access to Battery Name, Manufacture Name, Serial Number, Manufacture Date, Power State, Current Capacity (in %), Current Capacity Value, Full Charged Capacity, Designed Capacity, Battery Health, Voltage, Charge/Discharge Rate, Chemistry, Low Battery Capacity, Number of charge/discharge cycles, Remaining battery time for the current activity (Estimated), Full battery time for the current activity (Estimated), Remaining time for charging the battery (Estimated), and Total time for charging the battery (Estimated).
- Export data: For even more flexibility, you can save the battery information in a CSV, tab-delimited, HTML, or XML file.
- Standalone: No installation is required, so you can carry it with you wherever you want.
- Command line friendly: You can make BatteryInfoView part of your pipeline and use it using commands to save battery information the way you want. Check the section below for more information.
- Interface: As usual with the Nir Sofer devs, the features are neat and the interface is clean, minimalist, and intuitive.
