Screen says no signal

My tower pc was working with my new screen, but after trying to connect a new keyboard it won't work.
It was shut off and wouldn't work after.
Now my screen will search for a moment and then say "No signal".
What to do?

you need to check the cable connecting the computer to the monitor and the internal connection of the video card (if you have one).

I have two video cards. One build in, the other in a slot, both have been cleaned and checked.
Have any other ideas of what it could be?

does the computer boot into Windows? I would then check the powersupply connections to the motherboard.

Yes it does. It's an old Asus P7H55-M/CG5275/DP_MB
