FN + F8 for Dell E5480 to extend display not worki

Hello,

Good day!
Need assistance for FN + F8 for Dell E5480 to extend display to an external monitor not working. when i press and hold FN + F8 it's not showing anything though it works for switching the Wifi On and Off.

What operating system is it? Once the Operating has booted, it has control. If it is window 8+ hit the windows key+P, and select!

It's running on Windows 7

is there other way or work around to activate the extended display and detect the external monitor?
